Dr. Ewang Epie-Alowede

Career Coach Intern

Dr. Epie-Alobwede is a multidisciplinary scholar-practitioner, U.S. Army Airborne Combat Medic veteran, and human-centered systems strategist whose is curently pursuing an Ed.M in Mental Health counseling from New York University. His career spans healthcare, federal government, immigration, disaster and crisis intervention, and public service. These experiences have given him an uncommon perspective on how large institutions function under pressure, and how leadership, trust, organizational systems, and human capability determine whether institutions merely operate or meaningfully improve people's lives. His leadership philosophy is ultimately grounded in Ubuntu and expressed through a straightforward commitment: People First. People Second. People Always. For Dr. Epie-Alobwede, leadership is not ultimately about position or authority. It is stewardship; the responsibility to develop people, strengthen institutions, expand opportunity, and leave behind systems capable of serving generations beyond one's own tenure.
